The Sangre de Drago or Grade latex is extracted from the bark of a tree that grows in the Amazon (croton lechleri), this latex has traditionally been used by the Amazon natives since ancient times to cases chronic diarrhea, leucorrhoea, gastric inflammation, gastrointestinal ulcers, as a healing, stimulating the body's defenses, bactericide and fungicide.
